Development of Pricing Model For Turkish Lignites

The objective of this study is to develop a general pricing model for Turkish Lignites that are mainly sold to the thermal plants. In order to reach at this aim, hedonic analyses have been carried out by using coal prices and parameters (calorific value, ash content, etc.) of some thermal plants. The results of hedonic analyses indicate that electricity price and calorific value are effective parameters on lignite prices. Based on these results and pricing method of metal concentrates, a general pricing model, which takes into account electricity price and calorific value, has been developed

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ağırlıklı olarak termik santral pazarına arz edilen Türkiye linyitlerine dönük genel bir fiyatlandırma modelinin oluşturulmasıdır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için öncelikle bazı termik santrallerden elde edilen fiyat ve parametre (kalorifik değer, kül içeriği vs. gibi) verileri kullanılmak suretiyle hedonic analizler yapılmıştır. Hedonic analiz sonuçları, mevcut haliyle elektrik fiyatlarının ve kalorifik değerin linyit fiyatları üzerinde etkili parametreler olduğuna işaret etmiştir. Analiz sonuçları ve metal konsantrelerin fiyatlandırması baz alınarak, elektrik fiyatları ve kalorifik değeri parametrelerini dikkate alan genel bir fiyatlandırma modeli geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen model ile mevcut veriler bazında yapılan denemeler kabul edilebilir sonuçlar vermiştir
