The Investigation of Gaseous Combustion Products Aiming at the Early Detection of Spontaneous Combustion in Zonguldak Coals

in this study gaseous combustion products have been investigated. Laboratory studies, based on "crossing point" technique have been carried out on the coal samples taken from Karadon (Çay, Sulu and Acılık seams), Kozlu (Büyük, Acılık and Çay seams) and Amasra CoUieries (Çınarlı seam) of Turkish Hardcoal Enterprises (TTK). Combustion gases have been analysed during the spontaneous combustion tests. The relations between the combustion gases and temperature have been investigated in a statistical manner. The results obtained in these studies show that the evaluation of the CrC6 alcane groups gases, 2,2 dimethyl propane and 1-pentene gases together with carbon monoxide will be useful for early detection. Evaluation of gas ratios will also be useful in continuous observations
ZONGULDAK KÖMÜRLERİNDE KENDİLİĞİNDEN YANMANIN ERKEN SAPTANMASI AMACIYLA YANMA ÜRÜNÜ GAZLARIN İNCELENMESİ

Bu çalışma yanma ürünü gazların incelenmesini kapsamaktadır. Laboratuvar çalışmaları, Türkiye Taşkömürü Kurumu (TTK)'mm Karadon (Çay, Sulu, Acılık damarlarından) , Kozlu (Büyük, Acılık, Çay damarlarından) ve Amasra (Çınarlı damarından) Müesseselerinden alınan örnekler üzerinde " tutuşma sıcaklığı tekniği" esas alınarak yapılmıştır. Kendiliğinden yanma deneyleri devam ederken gaz analizleri de gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deney sonuçlarından elde edilen gaz analizi verilerinin sıcaklıkla değişimleri istatistiksel olarak incelenmiştir. Bütün bu çalışmaların ışığında elde edilen sonuçlara göre; karbonmonoksit gazı ile CrC6 alkan grubu gazların, 2,2 di metil propan ve 1-penten gazlarının değerlendirilmeye alınmasının erken tespit çalışmalarında yarar sağlayacağı söylenebilir. Gaz oranlarının da değerlendirilmesi sürekli gözlemleme çalışmalarında yararlı olacaktır
