The use of Ammonium Kitrate - Fuel Oil mixture as a main blasting agent in the öpen pît mining industry in the USA has been considered great revolution in its field. This article is a brief summary of the conference given by the auther at Karabük, in order to apply this new system to the Divriği Iron Mines of the Turkish Iron and Steel Works. Amonyum Nitrat - Fuel Oil karışımının son senelerde, Amerika 3irleşik Devletleri açık işletmelerinde, patlayıcı madde olarak dinamitin yerini alması, büyük b'ir inkılâp kabul edilmektedir. Son derece emniyetli ve çok ucuz olan bu patlayıcı maddenin, Türkiye Demir ve Çelik işletmelerinin Divriği Demir Madenlerinde kullanılmasına matuf olarak Karabük'te, yazarın verdiği konferansın bir özeti mahiyetinde hazırlanmış olan bu yazıda; sistemin çeşitli yönleri ve Memleketimizde istihsal edilen Amonyum Nitrat cinslerinin bu maksatla kullanılma imkânları, kreaca izah edilmektedir
