Öz

in this study, e-commerce which is becoming more important due to the fast development in information and communication technologies was revievved considering its advantages to mining sector. The utilization rates and the opportunities it may provide were also given. By emphasizing the expected increase in utilization rate of e-commerce and the opportunities associated with it, recommendations were made to the Turkish Mining Sector, as well as explaining the required procedure to be fulfilled. Moreover, the minimum structural requirements of a mining company aiming for e-commerce were explained

Öz

Bu çalışmada; bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinde meydana gelen hızlı gelişmeler sonucu her geçen gün hızla yaygınlaşan elektronik ticaret (e-ticaret) konusu, madencilik sektörüne sağlayabileceği yararlar göz önüne alınarak ele alınmıştır. Bugünkü kullanım imkanları ve sağlayabileceği olanaklar üzerinde de ayrıca durulmuştur. E-ticaret uygulamalarının gelecekte ulaşabileceği kullanım yaygınlığı ve uluslararası rekabette sağlayacağı üstünlükler dikkate alınarak, Türk Madencilik sektöründe bu önemli ticari uygulamadan yararlanılması gerektiği vurgulanmış ve bunun için yapılması gerekenler açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca e-ticaret uygulamasına geçmek isteyen bir madencilik firması için gerekli olan asgari altyapı çalışmaları açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır
